  • Day 1

An Audley representative will meet you when you arrive in Hanoi and arrange private transport to your accommodation. You are free to unwind or explore at your own pace for the rest of the day. Hoan Kiem Lake is a short stroll from your accommodation, which is worth seeing because of its stunning nighttime lighting.

  • Day 2

Take a private city tour this morning with your driver and guide. See the Temple of Literature, the first university in Hanoi, and maybe the Fine Arts Museum, which has an amazing sculpture and art collection, the old Ho Chi Minh residence. The trip concludes in the bustling Old Quarter of Hanoi, and you return to your accommodation in the afternoon.

  • Day 3

After private transport this morning, board your typical Vietnamese junk in Haiphong. See the sunset over the calm waters of Lan Ha Bay by taking a leisurely afternoon cruise among its hundreds of limestone islands and caves. Later, have a delicious meal under the stars. You will get all meals while you are on board.

  • Day 4

This morning, see the sunrise across the water as you get up. After more cruising, return to the airport in Hanoi this afternoon in time for your departure to Hue. When you return to Hanoi, you will have some time to explore further and have lunch before going to the airport. Later tonight, take a flight to Hue and settle into your accommodation in the city.

  • Day 5

Following breakfast, you will tour Hue’s most significant historical sites with your guide, including the citadel and Emperor Tu Duc’s tomb. Later on, you may attempt to create Trucchi or bamboo paper art.

  • Day 6

You’ll cycle through some of Hue’s more rural districts today, stopping at local homes for planned stops. Stay the night in a classic garden cottage and eat meals prepared at home with produce directly from the garden.

  • Day 7

Today, take a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Hue to Hoi An. Travel across the Hai Van Pass, which offers breathtaking views of the Lang Co peninsula and the South China Sea on a clear day, and pass through an abundance of rice paddies. Spend the day unwinding; you may like to walk around Hoi An’s quaint riverbank village.

  • Day 8

Utilize the professional expertise of your guide to explore the UNESCO-listed town of Hoi An. Throughout the city’s historic area, which was formerly a major commerce hub for tourists from abroad, are several 16th-century structures. Drive to the ancient Cham remains at My Son after that. These are a group of Hindu temples that the surrounding dense forest has now claimed. You are free to unwind and explore at your own pace this afternoon. After researching, you can dip in the hotel’s pool.

  • Day 9

Today, take a private guide and driver to the Danang airport so you may take a quick trip to Ho Chi Minh City in southern Vietnam. Your own driver and guide greet you when you arrive. Visit the Cu Chi tunnels on the way to Ho Chi Minh City to get some further knowledge on the Viet Cong’s guerilla warfare and the Vietnam War. If you don’t mind confined quarters, you may go into a handful of the tunnels and see movies and displays showing the tunnels in operation. This evening, as part of a small group tour, go out on an exciting exploration of Ho Chi Minh City on a Vespa. Indulge in delectable street cuisine, take in the sounds of the local scene, and see the city through the eyes of your knowledgeable local guide.

  • Day 10

Take a full-day journey to a more sedate part of the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. In addition to learning about regional agricultural methods and enjoying a freshly made lunch in a local house, you will travel by a variety of modes of transportation. This is an amazing opportunity to see a pristine aspect of the nation.

  • Day 11

Your private driver picks you up from your hotel after breakfast and drives you to the airport in time for your next departure.
