Explore Vietnam’s Ocean Road on a self-guided bike tour

You will begin your tour in the historic city of Hue, which was the last seat of Imperial power in Vietnam. You will then go on a loop ride to explore Hue, including its old citadel walls, the Perfume River, and beautiful French-style buildings.

Once you leave the city, you’ll ride on quiet country roads with only a few cars passing by. The scenery will change from rice fields to sandy dunes, and you’ll see farmers’ homes turning into fishing cottages as you get closer to the ocean. You’ll pedal through some hills along the coastline, enjoying tasty Vietnamese food to keep you going. When you reach the vast Cau Hai Lagoon with a backdrop of mountains and a view of the ocean, you’ll find peaceful surroundings with mainly local Vietnamese families.
